Job summary

Grand Hyatt San Antonio is seeking a Hotel Food and Beverage Manager on a temporary taskforce basis to oversee all F&B venues at the River Walk property. The role involves coordinating scheduling, forecasting, and training while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and hotel procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of F&B management experience in a hotel setting, strong leadership abilities, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in F&B management.
• Hotel industry experience highly preferred.
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work on a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• No visa sponsorship is offered for this role.

Responsibilities

Description

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Outlets, the Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all food and beverage venues at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk, to include Moda Fare Food and Drink, Tejas Lounge, Spoonful Provisions, and the Pool Bar.
Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The position requires strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.
This is a temporary assignment expected to last between 6 and 8 weeks, starting as soon as August 16th and going until September 12th or longer if needed.
