Job summary

The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI is seeking a Regular Full Time Housekeeping Attendant to shampoo carpets in guest rooms and hallways, and to maintain upholstery and public areas. You will follow a rotating schedule to clean 3 to 4 guest rooms per week and 5 hallways per month, ensuring VIP arrivals have pristine spaces.

The role requires cleaning skills, attention to franchise standards, and the ability to move furniture or handle light cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow schedule and perform physical labor.
• Carpet-cleaning experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of franchise standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Shampoo carpets in guest rooms and hallways; rotate to clean 3–4 rooms per week and 5 hallways per month.
• Clean and maintain exterior rugs for VIP arrivals.
• Clean upholstery in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
• Follow workplace safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Director of Housekeeping or Supervisors.
