Job summary

Azul Hospitality seeks a Director of Finance for our Phoenix hotel to plan and direct budgeting, forecasting, P&L reporting, and accounting controls across operating and balance sheet accounts. You will lead payroll, income audit, AR/AP, tax compliance, and monthly financials, ensuring accurate close processes and strong cash management.

You will collaborate with the General Manager and executives to drive profitability, develop annual operating plans, and guide a sales-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in Finance and Accounting.
• Hospitality accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and timeliness of all finance functions including payroll, AR/AP, and cash management.
• Complete monthly close with journal entries, accruals, and tax reporting.
• Prepare annual operating plan aligned with business strategy.
• Lead forecasts with sales and operations teams.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and maximize profits.
• Oversee audits and tax compliance.
• Provide counsel to GM and executives on financial issues.
• Foster labor productivity and performance.
