Suburban Inns is seeking a facilities technician for a full-time shift split between 1st and 2nd shifts, primarily at a Holiday Inn Express property. You will perform maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and grounds, address safety issues, manage parts and supplies, and ensure 100% guest satisfaction. Weekend availability and a starting wage of $17/hour are required, with room for experience-based negotiation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge: ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic functions; good communication skills.
• Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: Minimum of one-year job-related experience required.
• License, Training, and/or Certification Required: Hazcom Training, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (may be completed upon hire), excellent driving record required.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Perform property walk-arounds and address issues; report problems promptly.
• Order maintenance items and manage supplies within budget; obtain approvals as needed.
• Record maintenance issues with up-to-date documentation using Quore and complete work orders.
• Conduct daily water checks for pool/spa and maintain clean pool/spa area.
• Maintain security by managing keys and ensuring equipment operates properly.
• Support preventative maintenance program and coordinate with departments.
• Drive company vehicles or operate heavy machinery for grounds work as needed.
