Job summary

Holiday Inn of Midland, part of Suburban Inns, is seeking a diligent maintenance/grounds associate for 2nd shift. The role is available as part-time or full-time, with a starting wage of $17/hour and negotiable based on experience.

Responsible for maintaining property grounds, public areas and parking structures while upholding IH​G standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, multi-tasking across projects, assisting in fire protection

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret or extract information and perform building repair/upkeep tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Prior experience in maintenance or property upkeep is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property grounds, public areas, and parking structure.
• Greet guests and provide a welcoming, helpful service.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs.
• Conduct property walk-arounds and address safety and security issues.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including lawn care and snow removal.
• Record maintenance activities and report issues to supervisor.
