Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Burleson/Ft Worth is seeking dependable Maintenance Technicians to care for guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and hotel facilities.

This hands-on role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and keeping the property safe and fully operational. The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance or repair experience and takes pride in quality work while minimizing guest disruption.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or vocational training completed.
• Familiar with building management software and reporting tools like Quore, Canary, Opera.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests for guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled tasks.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs.
• Assist with PTAC air-conditioning unit maintenance and repairs.
• Repair or replace locks, fixtures, outlets, and other hotel equipment.
• Complete painting, drywall repair, caulking, and furniture repairs.
• Inspect areas for maintenance or safety concerns and document repairs.
• Communicate professionally with guests when work is performed in occupied areas.
• Follow safety procedures and proper use of tools.
• Assist with grounds and exterior hotel projects as needed.
