Job summary

Hyatt Regency La Jolla in San Diego’s coastal enclave invites a dedicated Engineering Supervisor to join our team. You will support the Director of Engineering, oversee maintenance of guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, and ensure safety and efficiency across the hotel.

Evening swing shift availability is required. Candidates should have 2–4 years hotel maintenance supervision, trade licenses preferred, and a hands-on approach to electricity, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hotel maintenance supervision experience.
• Supervisory experience overseeing employees preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Licensed trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) preferred.
• Evening availability (swing shift) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and repairs of hotel spaces.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise engineers and train staff.
• Ensure safety and adherence to Hyatt standards.
