Job summary

Level5 Hospitality is seeking a Chief of Maintenance to lead hotel engineering operations at the Residence Inn CDA. The role focuses on the maintenance of building systems, guest spaces, and safety programs to ensure high guest satisfaction and reliable facilities.

You will supervise engineering staff, manage capital projects, and enforce preventive maintenance procedures across all hotel areas.

Qualifications

• 2 years in Facilities Management with at least 1 year managing others.
• 2+ years of experience in the hotel industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for hotel mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems.
• Manage engineering staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance for optimal productivity.
• Lead and supervise capital projects and track progress within budget guidelines.
• Ensure PM procedures are followed and records filed for audits and inspections.
• Maintain safe, clean, and energy-efficient engineering spaces and assets.
• Identify maintenance needs through daily tours and coordinate actions with departments.
• Train managers on life safety items and ensure compliance with standards.
• Handle day-to-day operations and perform other duties as assigned.
