Job summary

Best Western Sedona is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee facilities operations, preventative maintenance, and room renovation projects at the Sedona property. You will manage maintenance staff, ensure HVAC and equipment functionality, and oversee purchasing and long-term asset care.

The role requires strong leadership, English communication, and experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance, with a focus on life-safety systems and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand P&L to maintain budgeted guidelines.
• Experience with capital budgeting and asset management.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, security and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all property repairs and projects.
• Oversee Preventative Maintenance Program and Life Safety systems.
• Supervise electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Manage boiler/heating systems, pumps, and HVAC maintenance.
• Schedule and oversee staff for timely maintenance requests.
