Job summary

Hotel Clark is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to join our engineering team. This role performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, maintain accurate logs, and support senior engineers on complex repairs while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Solid technical troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple trades.
• Working knowledge of building systems—HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety.
• Certifications such as EPA Section 608 preferred; others (CPO, electrical, HVAC, plumbing) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances, carpentry.
• Install, replace, and repair fixtures, fittings, equipment, and system components to code.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to identify issues before they escalate.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and documentation in the work-order system.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
