Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive hotel experience.
• Trade school or college coursework in related field helpful.
• Flexible with long hours; ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong verbal and written communication; guest-focused.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Repair hotel air conditioning systems: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, electrical, and other equipment.
• Take readings on equipment and test cooling towers; record results.
• Replace and program televisions; replace light switches, bulbs, fixtures.
• Repair plumbing, pumps, and kitchen equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure adherence to codes.
