Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas seeks an engineer to ensure all hotel areas—from guest rooms to meetings and offices—are well-maintained and attractive. You will assist in repairs, refurbishment, and upkeep to keep the property functional for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspections, promptly addressing guest needs, and maintaining safety equipment. Requires EPA/HVAC certifications and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold EPA Universal certification and HVAC certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to follow safety procedures in a hotel environment.
• Capable of using basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders for general repair within time frame.
• Performs systematic checks and inspections to aid upkeep.
• Responds promptly to guest maintenance requests.
• Maintains tools, workspaces, and equipment in safe condition.
• Repairs/changes room locks for guest security.
• Repairs and/or troubleshoots electronic hotel equipment.
• Supports safety procedures and emergency readiness.
• Maintains a neat, courteous appearance and on-time reporting.
