Job summary

The D Las Vegas is seeking a General Engineer to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems. You will use hand and power tools, read blueprints and work with a team to ensure uptime and guest satisfaction.

A high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, preferably in a hotel/casino, are required. This on-site role offers steady hours, a fast-paced environment and opportunities to contribute to

High School diploma or equivalent required.
1 year experience preferred in Hotel/Casino environment.
Must be 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance property wide.
Work daily with hand tools and company owned power tools.
Complete work orders as assigned through computer-based program in a timely manner.
Effectively communicate details of work orders and follow-up through to completion.
Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow lawful direction from Upper Management.
Understand and follow work and safety rules and procedures.
Interact well with others and be a positive influence on Team Member morale.
Responsible for adhering to all company and departmental policies and standards.
Other duties as assigned.
