Job summary

Hotel Indigo Virginia Beach is hiring a Director of Food & Beverage for a brand-new opening. Lead the total F&B operations across outlets, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional guest service from day one.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate all F&B activities, develop leaders, manage staffing and costs, and ensure high standards aligned with brand policies. This role requires flexibility and strong leadership in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years as Director of Food & Beverage at a multi-outlet property.
• Experience implementing SOPs and standards for service/quality.
• Understanding of revenues and financials, including P&L.
• Ability to develop leaders and motivate a team.
• Flexibility with shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and organize Food & Beverage activities to maintain high standards and profitability.
• Coordinate departments to align with Catering/Sales and Rooms divisions for staffing and efficiency.
• Establish performance standards for food prep, purchasing and production.
• Manage staffing to maximize payroll productivity and control costs.
• Develop promotional and operational efforts to maximize sales.
• Handle guest complaints and monitor follow-up actions.
• Direct liquor procedures for security and service quality.
• Recruit, train, supervise, schedule and evaluate staff.
• Support emergencies to protect guests and property.
