Job summary

Hotel Saint Augustine, part of Bunkhouse Hotels, seeks an Event Planning Manager to lead planning and execution of meetings and events in Houston. You will collaborate with the hotels' operations and sales teams to deliver memorable guest experiences and revenue-generating events.

You will play a key role in coordinating with clients, planning details, and ensuring flawless service from pre-event to post-event stages while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with general computer applications and hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between meeting planners and hotel staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Prepare and manage event documentation for property events.
• Coordinate with sales teams, hotel departments, and clients to deliver high-quality service during pre-event, event, and post-event phases.
• Oversee food, beverage, and audiovisual requirements and manage room blocks.
