Job summary

Omaha Marriott in the Regency Business Park is seeking a Maintenance/Engineering professional to join our facilities team. This full-time role is based on-site at the Omaha Marriott.

You will respond to service calls within 30 minutes, diagnose defects, perform repairs, alterations and installations, and record work steps while complying with all codes and safety standards. Qualifications

• Hotel maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• State certification or licensure where required
• High work ethic and self-inititative

Responsibilities

• Respond to all service calls within 30 minutes of time call is received
• Determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, take corrective action, and record on work order
• Follow procedures for repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work
• Comply with local, county, state and federal codes and requirements
• Coordinate with electrician, carpenter, painter and night engineer on tasks
