Job summary

Omaha Marriott in the Regency area is seeking a Maintenance/Engineering professional to respond to service calls, troubleshoot and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen systems. This full-time role requires punctuality, teamwork with other trades, and adherence to codes.

The ideal candidate has hotel engineering experience, relevant vocational training or certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hotel maintenance experience is required, covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen areas.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in a related trade is preferred.
• State certifications or licensure where required may be needed.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of notification.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, and take corrective action.
• Perform repair, maintenance, alteration and installation tasks following procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
• Coordinate with electrician, carpenter, painter and night engineer to complete work.
