Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Surfside, FL is seeking an Engineer III to perform preventative maintenance and repairs across the hotel. You will support the Engineering team in maintaining building systems, responding to guest service requests, and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.

The role requires basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, with a focus on reliability and hospitality service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in hospitality engineering or building maintenance.
• General knowledge of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate computer systems and maintenance-related equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on experience and certifications.
• Desire to grow within the Engineering department and advance into future roles.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, fire & life safety, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergency situations, including equipment failures, leaks, and other operational issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering storage areas, pump rooms, and chemical storage locations.
• Support installation, relocation, and maintenance of hotel equipment and building systems.
• Assist with renovation projects and equipment upgrades as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support hotel operations.
• Comply with Four Seasons standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
