Job summary

You will review work orders, supervise engineering staff on a shift basis, coordinate repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool systems, and uphold preventative maintenance programs while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years as an Engineer in a hotel.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and assign work by priorities.
• Supervise engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinate activities.
• Assume full responsibility for the engineering department in the absence of the Chief Engineer.
• Complete work orders promptly and maintain records.
• Inspect public areas daily for issues and safety hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and records.
