Job summary

Pursuit is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead winterization and seasonal shutdowns for its properties. You will supervise a team, ensure reliable boilers and building systems, and coordinate contractors during off-season periods.

The role requires extensive hands-on maintenance skills, strong problem solving, and prior resort/hotel experience. This is a salaried, on-site position with opportunities to influence critical infrastructure during winter closures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel engineering or facilities experience.
• Previous supervisory or Maintenance Manager experience.
• Strong knowledge of boilers, hydronic heating, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Experience hiring and managing seasonal teams.
• Hands-on skills in repairs, painting, and general maintenance.
• Seasonal/resort hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual hotel shutdown and winterization activities.
• Manage daily maintenance operations and ensure reliable building systems.
• Maintain boilers, hydronic systems, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety equipment.
• Oversee seasonal staff recruitment, training and scheduling.
• Coordinate contractors, inspections, and emergency repairs.
• Prepare the hotel for spring reopening.
