Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking an Engineering Manager for E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami, FL. This leadership role directs daily operations, maintenance, and capital improvements across building systems to ensure safety, reliability, and an exceptional guest experience.

You will lead a team of engineers, coordinate with other departments, manage budgets, implement preventive maintenance, and uphold high standards of service in a luxury condo/hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or lead mechanic experience in hotel/related field, or 1+ year with technical certificate.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems maintenance aptitude.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, elevators, pools, and general maintenance.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, energy usage, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, and other departments to address maintenance concerns.
