Job summary

Remington Hotels’ Omaha Marriott is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to keep the property in top working order. You will oversee preventive maintenance, operate HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and coordinate with hotel leadership to meet safety and service standards.

This full-time role requires read blueprints, supervise staff, and drive a culture of safety, teamwork, and consistent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building construction experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams and blueprints; read test equipment.
• Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the hotel is in great working order and meets operational standards for Engineering.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance and operation of hotel structures, systems and equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance for rooms and public areas and keep records updated.
• Collaborate with hotel management and General Manager; hire, train, supervise and coach associates.
