Job summary
Concord Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer in Columbus, OH to lead the property engineering team, manage maintenance operations, and ensure safety and reliability of all hotel systems.
You will hire and develop engineering staff, oversee budgeting and compliance, and partner with the General Manager to drive safety programs and energy initiatives.

Qualifications
- Hotel engineering or maintenance leadership experience.
- Knowledge of building systems, life safety, fire protection, and HVAC operations.
- Experience leading maintenance staff in a hospitality setting.
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage repairs and maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
- Oversee inventory, budgeting, safety compliance, and inspections.
- Ensure safety standards for guests and associates.
- Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate engineering staff.
- Maintain compliance with Concord Hospitality and brand standards.
- Communicate needs with GM, corporate leadership, and ownership.
- Lead safety programs, preventive maintenance, and energy initiatives.
- Support Leadership Development and growth culture.
