The candidate will ensure 100% operational safety systems, coordinate preventive maintenance, and drive departmental improvements in service quality at Hyatt Regency hotels nationwide.

Formación

• Requires advanced knowledge of the BMS/Engineering profession.
• Requires supervisory skills and people management experience.
• Ability to investigate and analyze current activities in a specialized field.
• Strong communication with hotel management and staff.
• Good reading, writing and literacy for procedures and reports.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Engineering employees: interview, schedule, train, develop, coach and counsel.
• Provide open communication across the department and with hotel leadership.
• Assist with problem resolution and implement disciplinary actions when needed.
• Prioritize service requests and monitor maintenance work for safety and guest convenience.
• Test safety systems to ensure 100% operation and protect assets and guests.
• Monitor utility consumption and control expenses to meet budget goals.
• Maintain schedules, logs and records to ensure smooth operation and minimize liabilities.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
