Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to supervise the hotel’s operation, maintenance and repairs, and to manage the maintenance staff, ongoing preventive projects, and coordination with contractors for renovations and new construction.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a focus on safety and compliance to protect hotel assets and ensure top-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• College degree or related engineering coursework.
• HVAC, plumbing and carpentry certification.
• Hotel experience helpful and knowledge of hotel operations are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth operation and guest experience.
• Monitor compliance with building codes, OSHA safety, and fire department standards.
• Lead recruitment and supervision of engineers, laborers, painters, and carpenters.
