Job summary

StepStone Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee hotel maintenance operations, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and life safety systems. You will supervise associates, ensure projects meet deadlines, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high guest service standards.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, manage budgeting and cost control, and strive to maximize guest satisfaction through staff development and compliance with safety codes.

Qualifications

• Requires supervision and leadership of hotel maintenance staff.
• Must ensure projects meet deadlines and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, fire safety codes.
• Ability to communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance operations across refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and other hotel systems.
• Supervise assigned associates including hiring, termination, discipline, development, and evaluations.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Work with other departments to coordinate activities.
• Develop preventive maintenance program in line with the brand.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Achieve revenues and expenses targets for the guest services department.
• Improve guest satisfaction through staff development.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local codes.
• Maintain life safety systems and emergency equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain records.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals.
