Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee the hotel's facilities, systems, and safety. The role assists in the absence of the Chief Engineer and directs maintenance, capital projects, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

You will manage, train, and evaluate engineering staff, coordinate with local authorities, and ensure guest safety and equipment reliability across the property.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills for supervising staff and managing contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to schedule, manage and delegate work effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering, maintaining brand standards and safety.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems.
• Assign, verify, and document routine maintenance in the property maintenance management system.
• Coordinate permits, inspections, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead and evaluate engineering staff, and participate in capital projects and asset protection.
