Job summary

Platinum Companies is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations for our Midland, TX property. You will respond to repair requests, manage safety, security and asset protection, and coordinate budgets, projects, and preventive maintenance.

You will recruit, train and develop department staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• College degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with effective leadership.
• Proficient in English; Bi-lingual a plus.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical certification preferred.
• Experience in engineering, maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage all engineering/maintenance operations for the hotel.
• Respond to repair requests and supervise maintenance tasks.
• Maintain building and grounds with focus on safety, security and asset protection.
• Budget, projects, preventive maintenance and energy conservation management.
• Recruit, train and provide career development for department personnel.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold Brand standards.
• Provide exceptional customer satisfaction and handle guest issues.
• Perform on-call emergency service as required.
• Maintain accurate logs and records and supervise staffing decisions.
