Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer for our Orlando, FL hotel. You will support maintenance operations, perform repairs, and help manage the preventative maintenance program to ensure guest comfort.

Requirements include two years of hotel maintenance experience and a valid driver's license; some supervisory experience is preferred. We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with match, travel discounts, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Two years of maintenance experience in a hotel or related field.
One year of supervising staff preferred.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations skills are required.
Must be able to bend, kneel, lift up to 75 lbs and work overhead.
Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Engineer in coordinating maintenance operations.
Perform basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing and electrical tasks.
Oversee pool operations, preventative maintenance and grounds upkeep.
Develop training and department protocols with the Chief Engineer.
Coordinate with vendors, manage logs and assist with shifts and scheduling.
Respond to guest requests or complaints promptly.
