Job summary

Holiday Inn Express is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our Maintenance Team in Orlando. You will assist in coordinating maintenance operations across rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems.

The role requires at least two years of hotel maintenance experience and may include supervising staff. We offer weekly pay, paid time off, 401k with company match, and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in a hotel or related field.
• One year of supervising staff experience preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in coordinating maintenance operations.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical work and inspections.
• Inspect guest rooms and maintain pool chemical levels and equipment.
• Assist with training, department protocols, and vendor relations.
• Review maintenance issues and prioritize work orders; maintain logs.
