Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Engineering Maintenance Supervisor in Chattanooga, TN. The role leads the maintenance team to keep daily hotel operations running smoothly and ensures safety compliance across building systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, proven leadership, and excellent customer service skills, with flexibility for shifts and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance supervision experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety practices.
• Ability to lead a team effectively, with clear communication.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and related regulations.
• Skills in operating fire safety equipment and life safety programs.
• Capable of identifying operational issues and minimizing downtime.
• Strong problem-solving and team-building capabilities.
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English for communication with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize maintenance tasks.
• Manage preventive maintenance systems for daily operations.
• Follow safety and security policies; report hazards promptly.
• Proactively identify and address operational concerns to reduce downtime.
