Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking an experienced hotel engineering leader to ensure the property operates smoothly and adheres to engineering standards. You will conduct regular walkthroughs, assess maintenance of buildings, and manage the preventive maintenance program for rooms and public areas.

You will hire, train, supervise and coach associates, including managers, and coordinate with hotel management and the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to read drawings/diagrams/blueprints.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures hotel is in great working order and meets engineering standards.
• Conducts walk-throughs and assesses maintenance of structures, systems and equipment.
• Manages Preventive Maintenance for rooms and public areas with updated records.
• Collaborates with hotel management and the General Manager.
• Hires, trains, supervises, coaches and counsels associates including managers.
• Keeps grounds maintained for a great arrival experience.
• Implements safety and emergency policies and procedures per OSHA HazCom and safe lifting.
