Job summary

Sree Hotels, L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the engineering, maintenance, and safety operations for Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott properties in the Brier Creek/RDU area of Raleigh. The role requires flexibility to cover all shifts, with weekday and weekend availability.

The position oversees grounds, equipment, and maintenance staff, ensuring systems run to company standards. Strong leadership, budgeting and HVAC expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of engineering, building or property management or supervisory experience.
• Two years of HVAC systems experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, life safety operating systems.
• Certified Pool Operator (if applicable), CFC and HVAC license(s) preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, ability to delegate and multi-task.
• Budgeting, cost controls and financial responsibility experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for grounds, engineering and maintenance operations to meet company standards.
• Inspect facilities to ensure furniture, fixtures and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Assign and supervise repair work orders; complete on time and within budget.
• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine work required.
• Maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain inspection, licenses and contract files.
• Manage security procedures and key control.
• Supervise day-to-day Engineering department operations.
