Job summary

Thompson Austin is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the hotel’s maintenance and facilities management. You will oversee the operation of the maintenance department and ensure the building and equipment function safely and efficiently.

You will report to the hotel General Manager, work with corporate maintenance on remodeling projects, and drive safety training, cost controls, and quality standards across the property.

Qualifications

• Extensive management experience in hotel facilities and maintenance.
• Strong leadership and budget oversight capabilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of structures, facilities and systems.
• Plan, organize and direct maintenance activities and safety programs.
• Coordinate with vendors, review contracts and budgets.
