Job summary

Austin Marriott South is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee the property's facilities maintenance, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, service and repair of all equipment. Lead the Maintenance team and drive policy development and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience in a hotel or related environment, plus strong leadership, financial acumen and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a related role, including prior management.
• Hotel or related industry experience required; trade license preferred.
• Strong leadership and maintenance management skills.
• Ability to develop policies and procedures for maintenance requests and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance operations for the property.
• Direct and supervise Maintenance staff.
• Ensure efficient operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with guests and staff, manage budgets and schedules.
