Qualifications

• Experience leading large engineering or facilities teams in hotels or hospitality.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire/life safety, and EMS/BMS.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and capital project management.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, local fire codes, and brand standards.
• Experience in energy management and sustainability for large properties.
• Strong leadership and vendor management abilities.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams to drive operations and upgrades.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire protection, EMS/BMS).
• Manage large-scale renovations within budget with minimal guest disruption.
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance, life-safety, and emergency response plans.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on capex roadmaps, budgets, and vendor negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, fire codes, health standards, and brand requirements.
• Foster innovation through smart building tech and sustainability initiatives.
