Job summary

Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee all hotel engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-standard infrastructure, equipment, and assets across the property.

The role requires a track record in managing budgets, capital projects, and life safety systems, with strong leadership and collaboration with other hotel departments. A flexible schedule and commitment to guest experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive engineering or facilities management leadership experience, including senior management responsibility.
• Experience managing hotel engineering operations, preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and life safety systems.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, labor planning, vendor contracts, energy management, regulatory compliance, and associate development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of hotel engineering, maintenance, facilities, and building operations.
• Lead preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and engineering operations.
• Manage engineering team through recruiting, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, elevators, and building systems.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, labor, inventory, vendor contracts, utilities, and capex.
