Job summary

Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa, managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure reliable operations for hotel facilities. You will support the Engineering Manager, uphold safety standards, and minimize downtime to deliver a superior guest experience.

The role requires 3–5 years in engineering or maintenance with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and timely problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of engineering or maintenance experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, engineering standards, and maintenance practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the engineering and maintenance team.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Inspect hotel facilities regularly to identify repair needs and safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, front office, etc.) for maintenance needs.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and energy management initiatives.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and reports.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Be Doing:
