Job summary

DM Hotel Operator, LLC is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee all equipment operations, maintenance, service and repair, and to support guest satisfaction, cost control and profitability. You will lead the Preventative Maintenance program, ensure hotel rooms and public areas meet company standards, supervise hourly engineering staff, manage schedules, and coordinate safety training and certifications.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and hands-on problem solving

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in hotel engineering or facilities management.
• Experience leading preventive maintenance programs and safety training.
• Strong communication and scheduling skills with ability to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all equipment operations, maintenance, service and repair.
• Lead the Preventative Maintenance program to keep rooms and public spaces up to standards.
• Supervise hourly Engineering staff, coordinate scheduling and payroll input.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, certifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct training, evaluations and hires in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist in budget management and cost control related to engineering operations.
