Job summary

Loews Hollywood Hotel seeks a visionary Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering Department, oversee maintenance operations, and ensure assets are maintained to the highest safety and efficiency standards. You will drive preventive maintenance, capital projects, and Life Safety compliance while leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

This role requires strategic planning, strong collaboration with senior leadership, and a proven track record in hotel facilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior engineering role in hospitality or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety systems, and energy management.
• Proven leadership with budget ownership and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all engineering and maintenance operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to optimize facility performance.
• Lead Life Safety protocols and emergency training for personnel.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping compliant with corporate policies and laws.
• Oversee inspections and certifications of Life Safety systems.
• Manage annual Engineering Department budget and capital project priorities.
