Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Effective communication with guests and associates.
• Ability to work independently as a mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems within the hotel.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, piping and electrical systems.
• Perform daily shift reports and log calls.
• Monitor and close out calls through Operator.
• Follow OSHA standards and maintain building interiors and exteriors.
• Promote guest/associate rapport and respond promptly to requests.
• Perform PM on FF&E and assist in cost control.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and controls.
