Job summary

LUMA Hotel Times Square is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems across guest rooms and public areas. You will respond to requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and comfort for guests and staff.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, ability to work day/evening/overnight shifts, and a preference for HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• High school graduate preferred.
• 2 years previous maintenance experience.
• Will be required to work day and/or evening shifts, overnight, both weekdays and weekends.
• Fire & Life Safety Director required.
• HVAC, boiler, sprinkler maintenance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room Preventative Maintenance on all hotel rooms, building and equipment.
• Assist guests as needed.
• Assist with security and safety checks for the property through visual checks.
• Building walk-thru
• Ability to use service ticket app, ALICE.
• Follow supervisor's instructions and complete other duties as directed or assigned.
