Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel maintenance team in New York. The role focuses on proactive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge required.
• Minimum of two years in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
