Job summary

LUMA Hotel Times Square is seeking an Engineer to maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems across guest rooms and public areas. You will respond to equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support safety and security checks to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Experience in hotel maintenance is preferred; shift flexibility including evenings, overnights and weekends is required. Excellent teamwork and a proactive attitude are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• 2 years maintenance experience.
• HVAC, boiler, sprinkler maintenance certification preferred.
• Will work day and/or evening shifts, overnight, both weekdays and weekends.
• Fire & Life Safety Director required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room Preventative Maintenance on all hotel rooms, building and equipment.
• Assist guests as needed.
• Assist with security and safety checks for the property through visual checks.
• Building walk-thru.
• Follow supervisor's instructions and complete other duties as directed or assigned.
