Job summary

The Joule Dallas, a Highgate Hotels property, seeks an Engineer to maintain the building in top condition while minimizing guest disruption. Training is available for candidates with a hospitality mindset and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include inspections, basic repairs, electrical work, plumbing, and maintaining maintenance records. Applicants should be able to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible and long hours as needed.
• Capable of communicating clearly with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheet rock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, replace light switches, receptacles, and light bulbs.
• Repair furniture and fixtures as required.
• Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records.
• Perform work in compliance with local, state and Federal codes.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction through timely, quality service.
