Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment (boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Take required readings on equipment and test cooling towers.
• Replace and program televisions as needed; replace lighting fixtures and pumps.
• Perform plumbing repairs and repair hotel fixtures as needed.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records and ensure compliance with codes.
