Job summary

The Maxwell Nashville, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Engineer I to maintain guest comfort and facility reliability while supporting a dynamic hotel team. You will manage building systems, respond to maintenance requests, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Technical / Role-Specific Requirements

• Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address safety hazards or operational issues
• Maintain guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and facility infrastructure in good working condition
• Monitor and maintain compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and local codes
• Track maintenance work orders and document completed repairs
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are required
• Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Assist with renovation projects, facility improvements, and capital expenditure initiatives
• Ensure all engineering equipment is operated safely and properly maintained to minimize downtime and guest impact.

Education
