Driftwood Hospitality Management is hiring a dish/pantry associate for Crowne Plaza Springfield - Convention Center. The role supports cooks, servers and guests by ensuring clean utensils and service ware, while maintaining a safe, organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, cleaning cookware, and following health standards. The position requires physical stamina and adherence to safety procedures, with shifts that vary to meet hotel needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain same to compliment guest experience.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine in accordance with hotel and health department standards.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable safe application of products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware to provide equipment for cooks, bus persons and servers.
• Sort soiled ware promptly and wash, then replace in storage areas.
• Keep dish machine cleaned and filled with water per standards.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly to support cooking staff.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks using standard cleaners to meet health standards.
• Maintain floor cleanliness to prevent slips and falls.
• Adhere to company policies, safety and security procedures.
