Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management at Springfield Crowne Plaza, Springfield, IL seeks a part-time Kitchen Steward. You will transport and clean utensils and service ware to support cooks, bus persons and servers, ensuring guests have proper equipment for dining and maintaining a clean work area.

This on-site role offers a pay rate of $15.00–$15.25 per hour with flexible shifts. You’ll follow health standards, safety rules, and assist other kitchen personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and maintaining it for guest experience.
• Ability to operate a commercial kitchen dish machine per standards.
• Ability to apply product labeling instructions safely.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish machine and replace in storage areas.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water per standards.
• Clean kettles, pots and pans promptly for cooks.
• Perform general cleaning to health standards in the kitchen.
• Maintain floors and separate linen; follow safety rules.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
