Job summary

The Westin Cleveland, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated hospitality professional to assist in planning and managing the Restaurant, In Room Dining, retail marketplace and private events. You will help achieve customer satisfaction, uphold standards, and support regulatory compliance while driving guest experiences.

You will work with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service, help supervise daily tasks, and contribute to a welcoming environment for guests at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to use point of sale.
• Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to push/and pull carts of products weighing up to 150 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Responsibilities

• Coach and monitor servers and bus persons to adhere to all service standards and friendliness.
• Supervise service of guests, being watchful and caring of any signals from guests in need of service.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with their food and beverage experience.
• Assist manager to establish and monitor daily side work duty completion.
• Maintain a cash bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift.
